Food shopping
Deluxe Food Market Inc, Manhattan, United States
This is one of those new, long, modern markets that exist in "Chinatown" where the clientele is mostly, well, Chinese. Most impressive is the meat market selection, fresh beef, chicken, pork, goose, loins, feet. Tongues, claws, tripe and bung. Follwed by a special area with poussin, the chickens have their heads and feet, and there is a special man with a little knife, who, when asked, will delicately remove the skin from an entire chicken in one piece - people stop to watch. After that is the fish section, with dead fish, live fish, fillets, whole sides, frogs, shrimps, you name it. Not ot mention all the above coming in marinade ready for cooking if you prefer. If you were not paying attention on your other side was prepared dishes ready to eat, then a whole row of assorted frozen birds, noodles, chinese sausages, chicken egs, quail eggs, green onions, bok choy, etc. Lastly is a cafeteria section, and then the exit to the next block . . .
