Costa Rica's only Microbrew

With the monopoly of the Cerveceria CR, craving a beer that doesn't look like ginger ale or in a brown bottle is bound to happen. That's when you should head over to K&S in Curridabat (the East end of San Jose). CR's only microbrew pub, K&S is also a theme-restaurant, and their theme is BEER - beer-batter dipped delights, beer-infused main courses, beer bastes, beer reductions, etc. K&S offers a full range of beers brewed on the premises, and as such offers the only other CR alternative to the CCC's Bavaria Dark if you're hankering something heavier than an Imperial. In addition to their popular venue that features top-billed local bands, K&S also apparently offers take-home liters and kegs of their brew.
